This November I will be collecting items for the Emergency Family Shelter located in Mount Vernon, WA. Bring me an item on Friday, November 21st at Starbucks in Burlington (drive thru) and get a FREE latte! Open to see items needed!

The shelter houses up to 10 families. I will be collecting items throughout the month and on November 21, 2008 I will be at Starbucks in Burlington (drive-thru by Costco) from 9-12 and will purchase a coffee of choice for every person who brings me a donated item.

Washable, safe for all ages toys (to be kept in each apartment)

List of Items in Need:

Toiletries (TP, feminine hygiene, paper towels, deodorant, makeup, etc.)

Diapers and wipes

Laundry soap and dryer sheets

Non perishable food items (they don’t supply food, but like to keep some on hand for emergencies)

Gift cards in small amounts ($5 - $10) to places like Walmart, Safeway, gas stations, etc.

VHS tapes (no R rated)

New, or like new, stuffed animals (to be given to each child who enters the shelter)
